Elizabeth S. Del Pozo

Elizabeth S. del Pozo, ("Betsy del Pozo"), California Licensed Professional Fiduciary, founded San Diego Legal Assistants (“SDLA”) in 1977 to provide paralegal services to the legal community of San Diego. Within a few ‘years of founding her business, Betsy began providing Fiduciary services to a broad spectrum of clients in 1980. Since that time, Betsy has served as Trustee of simple and complex Trusts, including Special Needs, Educational and Insurance Trusts, Conservator of Persons and Estates, Guardian of Minors' Estates, Guardian ad Litem, Personal Representative of Decedents’ Estates and as Agent under Financial Powers of Attorney and Advance Directives.

Betsy is a Charter Member of the San Diego Chapter of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California. She has served as President, Vice President and State Board Representative of the local chapter. Betsy is a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary (License #32) and Registered National Guardian.

Betsy provides Fiduciary Services in a numerous of situations, including managing and marketing a variety of businesses both in the U.S. and abroad. She also manages clients’ intricate and challenging personal and medical issues. Betsy serves as an interim and temporary Fiduciary in matters involving litigation and disputes and works closely with numerous other professionals in related fields to provide efficient and successful resolution to complex issues. Betsy and her associates have re-organized as Premiere Fiduciaries to continue to provide comprehensive fiduciary services to a diverse group of clients.

Betsy and Premiere Fiduciaries have offices in Del Mar, California. Twelve full-time team members’ skills include business and property management, financial management, accounting, bookkeeping, benefits and insurance management, and paralegal services. Our team includes associates who provide additional skills on an “as need” basis. Team members include an enrolled agent, Care Companions and Managers who visit clients to closely monitor clients’ care, technicians to assist with computer management and telecommunications and "handymen" who make minor repairs, purchase, and install appliances and provide cleaning, landscaping and gardening services for clients’ residences and other properties. Several team members are fluent in Spanish and others have the ability to communicate in French, Tagalog and German. Betsy and her associates pride themselves on being readily accessible and “on call” to meet their clients’ various needs.
